Objects: This study was designed to compare the effect of muscle relaxation pharmacopuncture Therapy on the patients with neck pain caused by cervical herniated disc
Methods: We investigated 5 cases of patients with neck pain cased by cervical herniated disc, who had been treated from November 2014 to September 2015. We measured the effectiveness of treatment using numeric rating scale(NRS) and neck isability index(NDI).
Results: All patients who received Muscle relaxation pharmacopuncture treatment reported an improvement in their symptoms. There was a significant change in the NRS and NDI scores before and after treatment.
Conclusions: According to the result of this study, it was suggested that Muscle relaxation pharmacopuncture are effective in reducing neck pain casued by cervical herniated disc. Further well designed prospective study is needed.
